attorney profile

Born and raised in Venezuela,  Evelyn attended law school in the Venezuelan capital city, Caracas, where she graduated in the top 10 percentile in her class with a masters in business law. She went on to obtain a degree from the University of Miami Law School in a period of just two years where she graduated again in the top 10 percentile of her class. She has a vast international law work portfolio including work in the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, France, and Switzerland (Saint Moritz).  Her portfolio of clients includes the Cisneros Organization, Venezuelan Radio and Television Companies, International Gaming, Telecoms, and an International Multi Media Conglomerate.

Evelyn has been a longstanding adviser to non-profit organizations, conceiving and creating Miami Art Central (now Miami Art Museum) and the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, which fosters cultural exchange within the visual and performing arts and supports emerging and mid-career multidisciplinary contemporary artists from Latin America. She has been a valuable adviser to the Together Foundation, responsible for connecting the United Nations with all its member missions on-line for the first time and for building private networks to connect schools and other world organizations. The Venezuelan arm of the Together Foundation, Fundacion Together de Venezuela, promoting and disseminating models for the assistance and prevention of abandoned children, is one of her most inspiring philanthropic clients.

Drawing on those experiences, Evelyn selected Northern California to become a sole practitioner concentrating on Family, Immigration and Corporate Law. Her practice here has called upon trial work in Santa Clara (Silicon Valley), San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Monterey. She enjoys the demands of proper legal representation and her focus on preparation and a personal touch permits her to draw upon her knowledge and understanding of civil, common, corporate, and family law
. The cumulative of those concentrations affords her the opportunity to provide a holistic legal experience to her clients and provide them valuable guidance through what is typically an unfamiliar and often fearful setting.
